4x4 Floppy

The 48 x 48" Solid Floppy Black Flag is made of a deep black fabric stretched over a metal frame which has a pin that fits in a grip head. This flag is used as a gobo to completely block the light falling on the subject or a portion of the subject. Sewn to the grip side is an extra 48x48" that unfolds to a total of 48" X 96" of light blocking material. The fold out side is secured to the main body with strips of Velcro when not in use. Known as a "bottomer" floppies that unfold towards the pin are most common but Victory Studios also has "toppers" where the extra material folds away from the clamp side.
